FORCE U17 Girls Advance to State Cup "Sweet 16"!
Defense and more defense is what it takes to advance in soccer tournaments. The Indialantic Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) "FORCE" girls U17 soccer team advanced in the State Cup tournament which puts all of the state’s top youth teams together to determine a state champion. Over the weekend the FORCE battled their first two opponents (Jupiter and Central Florida United) to 0-0 draws and then on Sunday morning defeated
Clearwater 1-0 on a goal by Hannah Linton to advance to the round of 16. The FORCE are lead by its two goal keepers Stephanie Dunn and Hope Wessel. The FORCE will play again on April 26th at
Palm Bay
Regional
Park in the round of 16 hoping to advance to the Final Four which will be played in
Pensacola .
